Hi Max, thank you very much for this fully working version
I placed an external bec in between the center plates and connected the 5v to the upper plate. This looks much much clearer.
One thing is discovered is that the xbee introduces very high noise, espacially when powered by the aq! When i power it by the 5v ext bec this effect gets minimized quite a bit. The main downside is that I can't get a connection via the xbee anymore as the 'on' led flickers and the rssi led isn't on at all...do you know how i can cure this? Maybe placing a capacitor there?

How did you hook up your components (drawing)?
Did you connect the "ground" wires? Sometimes that is the reason for bad ore no signal.

Got it sorted out
Must have been a bad solder joint or something so that the xbee didn't get any power.
Now I can redo my dance, yeah XD
