Thats exacly why you should adjust Factor Throttle.

After adjusting, your machine hovers @midstick in Manual and in PH.

arachnida, try to tune "Motor/ESC hoover throtle" parameter (in GCS Edit Parameters/Special settings). For start set value to 500.
