Drone takes off horizontally after position hold

Postby ylin » Wed Jul 20, 2016 7:17 pm

Hey guys,

I'm having a strange issue that I can't figure out. I have a quadcopter with an AQ6.1. After take off and switching to position hold, sometimes the quadcopter will start to move horizontally without any input. When I try to give it an RC command, it would respond very slowly to the point where it's almost uncontrollable. This seems to happen randomly. Sometimes it would perform perfectly, other times it would just start to move in a random direction faster and faster.

I should add that I have another micro controller that I use to send some commands to the AQ using the Spektrum DSM X protocol, but checking the log files, it looks like the AQ is receiving the correct RC inputs.

My firmware version is 7.0-EXPR r436 b1847 HW: v. 6 r1

I'm not sure what is going on with it. I'm hoping that maybe someone here would be able to read the log files better than me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
ylin
