Does second baro really matter?

Does the second pressure sensor make an appreciable difference in altitude positioning? I see there is an option for the software to use sensor 1,2 or both. I'd like to know so I can decide if I should risk ordering and soldering the missing sensor onto the AQ now.

Thanks, I guess the second one is for Air Speed measurement.

Yes, the second one is for airspeed measuring on fixed wing setups.
On a multirotor using both will only add some redundancy - that's why we left it out on the beta.

I'm not certain but in trawling through the current code..if both sensors are present, it calculates the average pressure from them.
Hoping a dev will comment on my initial question.

Edit: kinderkram just replied. Thank you. I'll leave it alone for now. :)

Max made an illustration for those who want to solder the second baro on their own (see attachment).
Shouldn't be a big deal for someone with soldering skills.

If 2nd baro is installed later, do static and dynamic calibrations need to be repeated?
Can't find the source for the calibration calc routines so I can't tell if the pressure sensor(s) data plays a part.

It is a small part, but it is real close to the mag sensors. If it were me, I'd re-do dynamic.
