Dynamic calibration, Short ACCZ curve

Postby Mlozano » Thu Jan 09, 2014 9:12 pm

Hello,

I have made a preliminary dance to check if me movements are correct. Finally I think that I dance correctly, but I have a doubt: The ACCZ curve have the same height as ACCX and ACCY. What's the problem?

Thank you in advance,

This looks normal for an uncalibrated board. What you are seeing is a slight bias (offset) in the Z axis and its to be expected for an uncalibrated board - the whole purpose of the calibration is to account for Bias, temperature drift and sensor misalignment for each individual IMU.

After calibration you should see all 3 ACC axises have a range close to +/- 9.806 when turned a full revolution on each axis.
