RCTimer 15 x 5.5 prop quality in question

I have been flying my test quad with R196 and the gimbal code I've been using for a while to see if things are cool. Since I get bored I have a tendency to do things that end badly, the tree in the back yard grew to much last year and I hit it going underneath and it flipped to the ground with just a broken prop.

I changed the prop and it was all screwed up and couldn't get it balanced at all, I grabbed another new prop and the same thing. I figured I may have zapped the motor so I changed it with no luck.

I then swapped the left and right prop and the roll imbalanced went to the opposite side. Huge difference in props. I put the RCTimer 15 x 5.5 props on my test stand and these are the numbers I got in grams full throttle. The 2 props 670 and 690 were the ones I used to replace the broken one and had much less thrust than it's mate.

I doubt their molds have changed, but the demand is so high they're probably pulling them out of the mold too soon.

The ones on the high and low side I tripple checked.

Thats an incredible finding. Maybe they labeled them wrong.... Who know who puts the lables on...
I use the Tiger props with good results. But now after your post, thats maybe the reason for my vibes.

It's food for thought, I don't have vibration issues with the props and they are in general very close in balance out of the bag. Those were in my drawer, I have 14 more on ships to check.

It would explain why some craft don't have the pitch, roll and yaw outputs running around zero in a hover.

Those are thrust readings at a constant rpm of 4150 by the way.

I've had the same issue with the RC Timer 17 x 5.5 props. Somewhere around a 25% change from one prop to the next. All the props came with good static balance but the lower thrust props would vibrate. I will look into if the center mount has a slight twist causing one blade to have more pitch and the other blade less pitch. The run out on all the props is very good.
