Anyone built a frame like this? (v8)

Has anyone built an AutoQuad with the frame style shown in the picture? Some call this a V8 configuration (8 props in a V creating an angle of about 28 degrees).

I'm planning to build a quite similar frame, an V12. the motors are on the way ...
