Attaching foam to the baro...

Postby Jdmagoo » Mon Apr 29, 2013 11:52 am

Silly question, how are people attaching the foam to the baro? Are you glueing it? If so what type of glue are you using? Where are you gluing it, to the baro itself or the the circuit board? How big are you cutting the foam?

Many thanks

I've cut a piece like in the picture, then I cut the inside of the foam with scissors in order to accommodate the sensor and glued it with CA glue to the sides of the sensor.

I just slightly compress a piece to fit between the AQ board and the GPS antenna groundplane/support plate. Not too snug, so the foam is still open-celled. Hasn't ever moved yet...
