Successful maiden flight!

Just managed to testfly my hexa, between snowfalls and high winds. Seems to fly great! Position/Alt hold works fine! I'll upt up some video, as soon as I get my camera back. PID are at default values, and I'm using the motor mixing table posted by teramax (Thank You!) Here's my machine (old setup with Naza). Vulcan Multiframe 900 from UAVShop in the UK. Motors are Tiger 2814/10, HobbyWing 40A Opto multirotor ESC's, 11x4,7 propellers. Fitted with a Cinestar 2 axis gimbal. AUW w/o camera and with 1 4S 5000mAh lipo is 3.9 kg.
Only thing is that I'm having a hard time hovering in manual mode. It will descend, or increase throttle one notch it will climb. In Alt hold it's perfect, but then switching to manual and not touching throttle, it will take off like a rocket.
I'm not sure wich setting would effect this behaviour... deadband? throttle factor (0.7)? Or is it just a matter of trimming the tx?

Here's a picture from the log file (second flight)
Green: LOG_MOTOR_THROTTLE
Dark magenta?: LOG_RADIO_CHANNEL0 (throttle)
Purple: LOG_RADIO_CHANNEL4 (switch Man - Alt/Pos hold)
Blue: LOG_GPS_HEIGHT

So it takes considerably more throttle (stick) to maintain altitude in Alt/Pos hold than in manual mode.

It's always great to hear of another AQ in the air.

The Throttle factor needs to be adjusted so your Hexa will hover in manual control with a 50% throttle position.
You'll need to change the Throttle Factor when you add a camera or a larger battery.

Ok, so here's the video. 6 boring minutes. Very poor quality video from my nex5-n for some reason...
Oscillating some in Alt/Pos hold. I've later flashed with 6.6.r76 and altered some Navigation Altitude Speed settings. Hopefully I can test it tomorrow.

But the AQ can do better. r76 will help to get a better AH/PH.
Did you cover the baro with open cell foam?
