Firmware upgrade AQ32

Postby holco » Tue Jul 31, 2012 11:51 am

I see that the firmware upgrade wiki for the AQ32 is still missing :(

What is the route to go for flashing? ( I know of the boot jumper)
How can I see what firmware is insite?
Which firmware is loaded in the first batch?

Greetings,

Hi Mario,

Setting the ESC32 in bootmode: short both the boot pads while powering on. Leds should now be off. You don't need to shorten the pads once it is in bootmode.

Flashing, same as AQ, attach you FTDI to the ESC32, load firmware in the firmware tab of the QGCS and flash.
To see what release is in the ESC32:

For now, you need terminal access: connect the FTDI to the ESC32 and load a terminal
Something like putty. Connect using the com port on 230400bps.
Once connected you see... nothing :), enter help for the CLI menu.
Enter version for ... version yeah.
You will receive the buildnumber, it is lower than now is on the google source page or in our download.
Not much has changed though, more framework for next versions.
