Can I use this function in normal open_loop mode ? It's working ?
Anybody trying this ? Any experience ?

I'd recommend not playing with this unless you are prepared to replace FET drivers. The gts voltage can get very high when shunting the collapsing magnetic field back to Vin and has a tendency to fry the drivers in some situations. The function should probably be moved to the debug mode.
