ESC32 Q&A

Info and Discussion about the ESC32 hardware and software

No, the FW I used is: 1.4.1 Build 5251, I've flashed them already.
Now, I can see these two as well:
1.4.3 r27 build 5306
and
r32 build 5525 (experimental)

So, what shall I do?

Ok, will I need 1.2.1 for AQ calibrations. In other words, what is the best ver of QGC to use with each step in either AQ or ESC32?

use r27 FW

After that run QGS 1.0.5 and try to chenge parameters and save. If will be ok, use it.

The best (for now) is Linux version of QGS to calibrate esc32.

Ok.

What if I want to calibrate ESC32 and AQ on Windows? What is the best version?

I can get Linux if you're suggesting that it is essential/needed for calibrations.

For calibration you can try 1.2.1 but best way is Linux version. (you can run QGS on Ubuntu LiveCD/DVD eg.)

This is what happened.

I re-flashed using r27 in the same QGC 1.2.1, now after it was completed, I disconnected and got this:

This wasn't happening before, whenever I use to open the parameters tab, no values were there at all unlike this now.

What you think?

Ok and now I can write and re-write the parameters! in QGC 1.2.1 :geek:

Thanks bluuu

Now back to the main question, what parameters values I should follow?

Most of the parameters can not touch.

For now you can set max current (value for your motor and battery).
After that - run calibration.

Remember - for calibration motor with props runs at max power. Be carreful.

What motors and props do you have ?

They are on their way. I've 2 motor/prop configurations, I want to start first with 1150 Eprops + MT1126.
Then if successful, I think I will buy everything again and fix it for 1260 Eprops + MT3506. Or I might have to re-calibrate, re-assemble ESCs for the other combo.. Will see about that..

So for now, I think its this way:
-ESC calibration with configuration 1, max power :? :? so is it fully assembeled copter or single arm at each time?
And what shall I do? Hang it somewhere lol?
-AQ Static
-AQ Dynamic
-Calculations
-Set and fly baby fly

Is that OK?

Calibraton esc32 you must do for any combinations motors and props but only one time.
You would run calibration for only one motor with props (on one arm). For other esc you must just type (the same) values.

After .. as you write below :) Static, dynamic, calc, tunning manual flying, tunning auto flying and fly happy :)
