ESC32V3 mount on Warthox centerplate

Postby afernan » Tue Aug 30, 2016 7:06 pm

I´m building a small quad with ESC32V3 and the well known Warthox centerplate (http://flyduino.net/Quadrocopter-Center ... n-set-of-2)

I want to show the installation solution I did that keeps a clean mount together with a protected ESC´s and easy access to USB connector from external side.
Attached the file for the small 3DPrinted part used . Used ABS; weights 2g each. M2.5 Bolts screwed directly into 2mm holes in part.
Note the small velcro ("loop" type) below the ESC´s to protect & isolate their botom side against frame surface.
Hope you like
Angel

Hi Angel

Very nice design as always.
Please keep in mind to mecanically fix the cap. One of my first hexas lost 3 caps due to vibrations. The wires broke and the hex came down. The escs where below the motors though.

Cheers

Hi Christoff:
Thanks for the comment. Yest I thought on that; I plan to setup a drop of hot glue to fix to the board.
