You definitely need some tuning on the vertical PID's. All of your surroundings are not visible, but it looks like you have a lot of the sky view blocked by houses or shrubs. It would be useful to plot your pos pos accuracy log data. AQ is at it's best with a wide open view of the sky, like on a flight field.

Looking closer at your machine's configuration, I think you will have to find a better way to mount your GPS antenna. It has no ground plane that I can see and it is right up next to ESC's and other electronics. Both bad things.

This always works for me: Take the attached template, print it out and tape it to a piece aluminum roof flashing (~0.01" thick.) Using heavy duty scissors, cut out the shape and drill the holes. You can then fold it into it's final 3D shape and use aluminum tape (used for duct work) to close the seams. It can then be mounted an inch or more above the FC with the antenna squarely in the middle. Very light, very effective.

If you feel that return to home is to fast you could change the nav_speed parameter. I believe it defaults to 6 (m/s) so that is around 25km/h to return to home
What about the 'breaking' he?, great to watch it banking to break the speed and then stop at the precise point. I always love that part..
