No. I drill arms separately of central plates. They´re counter drilled between CF tube and each end fitting, flat aligned. This´s done to get each arm perfectly aligned wrt the flat interfaces (like an square tube arm).

Central plates comes with CNC drills already in a very precise position. Then all is mounted together.

This is a bit off topic, but how does one convert from stl to igs or stp ?
Solid works opens it fine if i choose the options 'open as solid body'. I chose units as mm. Are those the units that were used on the original stl file ?
I can save it now was a igs or stp.
However curved surfaces(like circular holes) are approximated by a large number of lines on the contour.

Is this alright or is there a way to avoid this ?
