1) Below, the strength test results for the motor bracket end fitting:

Load = 8 Kg (8 milk tetrabricks)
Lifting point: 4 attachment holes in the bracket using a couple of tie-raps

Result: not evidence of damage. Repeated 5 times, remaining 10 sec on load (see image)

2) Motor protective washer (see images). It weights 3g only. Its ABS

Very nice and elegant.
How will the loads be at the other end ? (Where the arm connects with the central hub). I think those should be manageable because as you said there is a large surface area for load transmission.

Maiden flight
Summary: perfect flight (as usual in AQ).

Details.
- using r220. TMotor 3110, RcTimer props 13 x 4 (didn´t want to risk TMotor props in maiden!)
- none structural problem in any 3D printed part (as expected after strength test)
- None disarm problems in ESC32 (made a good calibration. Using 10nFcap´s. No shielded signal cable used.
- Position of ESC32 is very convenient to access connector, although I don´t like estetically. I´ll move ESC´s in between central plates, but I need a new and slighhtly bigger plate (on progress)
- battery bracket system very convenient. Quick and easy fix.
- quite a long flight time (20min+) but I need to meassure with better reference (I had strong wind, I was moving around all time..etc).
- and last but not least, it fits perfectly inside my Golf!

In summary, a good step forward to the (my) "perfect" Hexa.

@kinderkram: no, no need of reinforcements in the midle tube for the legs. Local forces are well distributed by the fitting. Bolt is only ti prevent rotations, negligible forces on it
