Here comes a new series of videos shot with my AQ6 L1 Hexa X, VectorDD and GoPro3 under various conditions.

For me it's just training for upcoming jobs, especially slooow moves to capture objects, buildings, roofs etc.
First one demonstrates DVH on a calm day:

Nice one! - any chance you could upload the video from the craft as well?

Also, what flight times are you getting with then gopro on board?

Yep, will upload the onboard version, too.
Need to find some time - hopefully today to also upload mission flights...

Flight time with a 4s 5000 is 10-12 mins.

Ok, here comes an onboard video of a mission ending up in an orbit.
Unfortunately this isn't the video from the above infinite orbit since my Gopro went to sleep before the camera guy was ready to shoot.

Ugly gusts, my team mates didn't dare to fly outside.
One of them crashed his quad.

But she flies pretty predictable. The transitions at the wps could be smoother, too abrupt for my taste.
Will try to compensate this by adding more wps in between the targets, raising the speed at each wp.



And the gimbal obviously needs another mount. It's shaking and vibrating too much especially when yawing. Will hard mount it to compare both.

Your beast is flying well. Looking forward to seeing some really great videos.

I was videoing the golf course this morning and I know how hard it is to get the shot right. I'm practicing without a gimbal to get good at copter control first. I've adjusted the PIDs to slow down all movements. Using the a three position switch can change the rate that the sticks have and really helps with slowing down the movements.
Soon I'll add the Alex gimbal and the Dewalt AQ quad will be complete.
