Wow, nice & clean!

How do you fixated those pretty motor mounts to the arms - just 2 standard clamps?

btw: some of the FETs look a bit burnt, did you have a heated discussion with them?

The fixation is inside the mot mounts. The center screw is just for a perpendicular position. The two M3 on the side tighten the clamp. Sitzt bombenfest.

On the fets is just some soldering grease left.

Yeah, the best thing ever happend to me. Imagine to mill a part like this. Ist almost impossible.

The octo will soon be ready. Hopefully I can place the motormounts at shapeway the next days. They just Need some minor adjustment.

You know I´m your best critic.
Another thing came to my mind regarding the motor wires running through the carbon plate;
I think you should prevent them from rubbing at the edges. They´ll get a lot of propwash and therefor might vibrate/swing.

Bc the whole is open you could cut one of those rubber rings (Kabeldurchführung) to secure the edges. Might get pretty tight, though.

Umm, yes: what about some bright LEDs to illuminate the mounts from the inside?
If you use red & white mounts they´d make nice position lights...
