Time to add some more filters! If you need some moderation help or forum plugins installed let me know. I would be glad to help.

I agree, there is way too much Spam coming through, making the forum hardly usable at times...
As much as I am enjoying reading other users experiences, the SPAM is very very annoying.
Let us know if there is anything that we as the users can do (beyond tagging "Viagra" posts)?

Those spammers are actually human beings (some students looking for additional easy income). Therefore, all kinds of capchas and other robot-preventing algorithms would not work against them. On most community forums these are dealt with using severe restrictions on forum newbies - like allowing posting only after some number of messages has been read or restricting newbies to a sandbox newbie forum until they get 10 or 20 sucessful posts. AutoQuad forum on the contrary has been created to help newbies, so from my point of view depriving them from posting their first message is not an option.

Currently we have several members with admin/moderator rights and usually those spam messages are deleted (along with spammers' accounts) before you get a chance to notice them :) There are times though when all modearators are offline (usually sleeping), so such spam inflows may happen. If you would like to help forum team as a moderator, you should apply to Norbert (kinderkram). Perhaps we could use more moderators from different time zones to ensure round-the-clock moderator presence.
