X- Y Orientation?

Postby ThreeDee » Sun Jul 08, 2012 8:26 pm

Hello,

my name is Nils and I´am new in Auto Quad. I ordered a FC from flyduino and
it will arrive in a few days. But now I´m planing a new frame and I doesn´t find the orientation directions diagram!
Which is the flying direction. Where are X and Y axis? I searched forum and wiki without luck.

Could somebody help me please!?

Regards, Nils

The FTDI connectors point to the back (baro at the front).

@ Kinderkram

Strange ... I took your user rights over to my admin account and could send a PM just fine.
Anybody else having troubles sending PMs?

ThreeDee,
I now live in San Jose, California, but I used to live in Osnabrueck! Gymnasium Carolinum (Abi '89) etc.,

Kinderkram,
I used to live in Wuppertal (~2001), practically neighbors!?
Can we create a user "map" so we can find others in the areas where one lives!?

Hi KinderKram
When I read the Quad Example .mix is it correct that:
Orientation X
Motor 2 = front right motor
Motor 9 = front left
Motor 5 = rear left
Motor 13 = rear right ?

Why has roll 3x -50 and 1x +50?
How ist the systematic regarding Motor Nr and location of the motor on the quad
What does the pos/neg indicate?

Thanks for your time
Best Christof
