Wifi-Bluetooth Connectivity ... TiWi module

Hi everyone,

After stalking here for a while and having now ordered a couple of M4's .... I'm thinking about telemetry and I've come across the TiWi module ... At only 18x13x2mm it seems quite interesting .... There's a link below.

Has anyone looked at using these?

Hi Matt, welcome to AutoQuad!

Interesting find - but I don´t know of anyone using this device. We usually take XBee, 3DR or cheap short range BT modules for telemetry. Dunno if the WiFi part of that module can be used for telemetry transmission.
btw: I couldn´t find a hint whether both WiFi & BT can be used simultaneously over one antenna.

Thanks for the welcome...again, I'm very much looking forward to receiving the M4s and getting started...it'll be with simple stuff first but I do dream of growing into integrating such items as the TiWi and onto LTE...a logical progression for 2015....but have to walk before run.... Or solder before flying...
