Mounting of AQ to the frame

Postby vAkUuM » Tue May 27, 2014 10:58 pm

Hello all!
I am absolutely dummy in AQ, so please do not kill me for stupid questions. Should I use any anti vibration pads to connect AQ to the frame? Or connect in directly to the frame? And may be good idea to make some FAQ about AQ? What I mean - collect all "stupid" questions in one place? Or may be we have this place ? :)

Nylon standoffs showed good results in the past. No antvib Rubbers. AQ likes to be mounted stiff.

Cheers

Nylon standoffs are great for AQ. But don't put the board to high. I recently tried putting the AQ board higher, away from electro-magnetic noise but the quad reacted with a high frequency wobbling. Probably due to vibrations from the higher standoffs
