did anyone use the Autoquad for Fixed Wing autonomous flight?

QGC is providing for all UAV devices.
MavLink is a protocol for all UAV too.
AQ used MavLink (with changes) but its FC for Multirotors.

indeed, but I got the info some time ago that AQ could control anything, I could be wrong and will double check.
If you look at the Flyduino website's home page you will read :
"Flight controllers for multicopters, helis and planes, Autoquad, Multiwiicopter, KK, FreeIMU"

AQ firmware not support planes, helis etc.
You can do that on MultiWii. (but multiwii isn't compatible with QGC).

On my side I just got the info from my partner who is very close to Bill and you are right, it hasn't been implemented… yet.
Will it be one day? Not sure…
