HK has them... probably others. They call them "12 LED Cluster" and they come in different colors. I have a couple white ones, very bright.

Hello -

Ideally get them as far away as practical from the AQ board. Next to, or underneath the motors. Also twist the wires (especially battery wires) to the ESC's.

When you place them under the motors, be aware of EMI. I just had some troubles with that. Test the mounting position before milling

Does the new plan have no ESCs (don't see 'em)? I like that! The whole ESC placement issue is a PITA anyway... someone really needs to figure out how to get rid of 'em entirely!

Yes the ESC are as far as i can now, the lipos will also comme sideways...
That's a big problem for me, but i will find a way...

New plan down side :



I'm waiting for the 3D printed parts to see if this very light landing gear version is usable on this frame. If not I will reinforce the biggest yellow part to push the tube inside a bigger block maybe...
It's planed with 8 mm OD tube, alloy or carbon, and i also have some ends pieces to adapt on some rubber to land softly .
My goal is to have a quick removable landing gear, and as light as possible, turning with the gimbal without beeing on the picture...

The ESC are now on the bottom side, with the LIPOs and the gimbal







I just put an old Handycam on the gimbal, but will do soon some video with the CX740 on it

Another item to complete this project is a quick-lock system to quick assembly/release between Frame and Gimbal :



It can hold 2*6000mAh - 4S. and will weight 180g.
Thanks to this peace i will remove one of the ugly white plate who holds the lipo now

The white plate is over 100g. So it will add arround 80g to my config.
