calibration problem

Postby zhlearnaq » Mon Jan 04, 2016 4:31 am

hello,
Anybody here?
Recently I flied in low temperature, it didn't work well, I thought that there must be something wrong with calibration and then I check the calibrated date by Matlab software, the following pictures are got by Matlab, can anybody tell me whether the data is normal?
The first picture is for accz, the red line means original data and the blue one means calibrated data. The original data are the static date for calculation.
The second picture is temperature data.Image

No pictures :(

Which AQ board/IMU type?

Didn't work well in terms of what?

hello Max,
Thank you for your reply, and sorry to say that I don't know how to show the picture here, i tried but failed :( .
The IMU used is DIMU.
I said it didn't work well because the Vertical height and velocity waves a lot when placed on the ground, especialy the few minutes on power. The vertical velocity can wave between 0.2m/s-0.8m/s which i think is not good for flight.
Since i don't know how to show the picture, i will upload my log files later, could you help me to have a look at my data and Calculation correction parameters? Really sorry to disturb you but I really need your help. I will do the same work together and upload my result later.

Also thanks for anybody who help me for my problem.

hello Larry,
Thank you for your help and sorry to upload the file until now
The two following files are the dynamic file, it's too big, i divided one file into two, download the two files and unpack one, the whole file will be got.

Here are my Matlab pictures, I export the raw data and check the output with correction parameters.

From the gyro picture, I found the parameters really have good effect.

There are two acc, acc in the first map is got by normal code given by aq, acc in the second map is got by changed code since i found there are three IMU_ACC_BIASX in the code as given in the picture, so here i change them to IMU_ACC_BIASX/IMU_ACC_BIASY/IMU_ACC_BIASZ.(The red line- raw data, The blue one-corrected data)

Alice

I have not done a calibration on a DIMU AQ board but I will try to do one in a few days.

If you use the AutoQuad Log Viewer I would be able to see your logs in the common way I'm used to seeing them.

You will find the AutoQuad Log Viewer on the Data page in the QGC.

There's a ton of information in the AutoQuad Wiki and a search will help you find what you need.

Here's a link to info on viewing logs with the QGC.

Larry

Thank you for your help, I will upload the picture latter, however, i wish to recheck the work of parameters, so i use matlab to plot both raw data and calibrated data. From the picture above, I think there must be something wrong in my calibration or data, could you help check my data, or do a calibration for my data?
