looks like we got the forum restored almost completely.

For security reasons we advise you to change your Forum login password!

Can you shed some more info on what exactly happened and why we should change our passwords? How were the passwords kept in the database?

If your recommendation is to change password on this forum that would mean that our email/login/password combos are in someone else's hands. This would mean that if someone uses the same username/password combo on any other website, they should change their password on that website too. Maybe you should remind people about that? If someone uses the same password for their email or PayPal that could be a disaster!

The databases weren´t compromised so none of the users data was exploited.

Changing the pw is only a precaution...
